Repair of Ruinous Structures
Our experience in this field ranges from the repair and conservation of ruinous structures to the sensitive display of fragile artefacts. The specialist and often innovative skills and techniques required for conservation of this nature have been developed by Sally Strachey and her team since the early 1980s
This longevity of experience lends itself to the continual observation and monitoring of materials and techniques in use. Archaeological sites can often be hostile environments for buildings and artefacts, with moisture and salts playing their particular part in the decay process; public access to historic sites also brings its own set of unique challenges.
